Our take
I needed some lightweight plates for my standard 1-inch barbell, and these 10 lb cast iron plates do the job. The semi-gloss black coating looks decent and seems to resist chipping so far. The machined center hole slides on smoothly without being too loose. That said, $67.89 for two 10 lb plates feels pricey for cast iron – you can often find similar plates for less. Also, they're only 1-inch diameter, so they won't fit Olympic bars. The plates are a bit rough around the edges in spots, but nothing that affects function. For light accessory work or incremental loading, they work fine, but shop around for better value.
